We have been very busy with our new Church theme –
Bringing the Bible to Life
The church hall north wall has murals and canvases with information sheets explaining Bible stories.
Starting with the story of Moses in the first panel, from Moses being floated in a basket as a baby, Moses at the Burning Bush (which actually didn’t burn), the Red Sea Crossing and holding the Ten Commandments.
The middle panel is the Western Wall in Jerusalem
The final panel has when Jesus met the woman at the well, Mary anointing Jesus’s feet and the shofar being blown.
The shofar leads up the stairs to the Upper Room.
Watch out for the Upper Room video.
There is also a comfortable seating area to have a chat and cuppa.
